A new brand identity

Artificialy is a Swiss company at the forefront in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning and probabilistic models, born as a spin-off of the Dalle Molle Institute on Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA), one of the most important international research centers in the field.

They had the need to evolve its brand in order to reach an international audience, grow its lead generation through digital touchpoints, stand out from other competitors with a unique and inclusive brand identity, and simplify the complexity connected with advanced technologies to make them more accessible. The result is  a new brand identity that enhances the digital ecosystem, offering support in the sale of products and services aimed at optimizing industrial machines and production processes that can be personalized based on the end companies' needs.

Outcome

We helped Artificialy evolve its brand identity, by creating a new logo, a dynamic website that highlights the added value of the brand, a design library that guarantees consistency within the entire digital ecosystem and a tone of voice aimed at making the complexity of advanced technologies immediate and accessible to all.

A fresh identity that targets simplicity

Artificialy’s new brand identity is based on dynamism, simplicity and neutral tones with color accents. The logo design adds value to the current name and payoff while bearing in mind its scalability on mobile devices and brand applications on digital channels. The visual identity was conceived starting from a few abstract elements, studied in-depth, that could clearly communicate to a broader and technically immature target.

A storytelling that links together talents, science and history into a new website

Starting from the visual identity, we then designed several specific brand applications, among which a showcase website that thoroughly presents the Artificialy business and values. Through a simple and direct storytelling, a dynamic interface and an empathetic mood, and thanks to the use of images picturing people and nature, we tried to convey the main cultural and technological aspects of the brand, embracing the challenge of making the complexity of AI clear and emotional.

A software to increase the machines efficiency

Besides the brand evolution, we designed the interface of a software capable of supporting companies in reducing the setup time of their industrial machines, thanks to advanced algorithms of artificial intelligence. The interface was conceived in a simple and intuitive manner, reducing the setup steps, the cognitive effort and offering immediate support to the operator through short “How to” guides that provide hints and suggestions for a correct use.

The evolution of the brand identity and the software interface allow Artificialy to offer an overall experience that is even simpler and faster, distinguishing it on the market and making the complexity linked to new technologies accessible to all.
